GALLERY Rentals:
ART247 provides the perfect setting for either a one person show, several artists showing jointly, or a presentation by a group or organization. We have multiple galleries available to rent. Please call 716-404-9884 for more information or to schedule an appointment to rent a gallery.

Resident STUDIO SPACES:
APPLICATION:
Studio Artists are selected through a reviewed application and interview process. For over the last twenty years, we have been focusing on artists that cultivate, transform, and address both traditional fine arts and new contemporary crafts, style, and techniques while exploring new material, media, and installation possibilities. We also have a number of artists working in traditional forms who offer years of experience and technical skill.
The application process requires a resume or CV, artist statement, 6-10 jpgs at 300 dpi., proof of income such as pay stubs, tax returns, and/or bank statements and three personal references. Please submit all Studio Artist applications as a single pdf to ART247 at studios@theART247.com. Applications with missing/ omitted information will be considered incomplete and therefore not considered.
Completed applications are reviewed and considered for an invite to a formal artist interview. After all interviews are completed, a determination will be made on which applicant(s) will be invited to join ART247's community as a Studio Artist. We promote and encourage Studio Artist submissions through social, web-based, and print media as well personal solicitations. We collect applications on a rolling basis to review when a space becomes available. In the event no current spaces are available, artists are placed on a wait list.
ART247'S ARTS & CULTURAL COMMUNITY:
Studio Artists are an active part of ART247's arts community and are expected to contribute to the community in the following ways:
- Work in studio regularly
- Attend at least 75% of ART247's events, openings, and receptions
- Complete and submit the Community Service Form and agree to assist in a variety of projects per year
- Participate in volunteer positions for events, openings, receptions, review panels, and committees
- Attend artist meetings
- Participate cooperatively with volunteers staff and Studio Artists in the care and maintenance of shared and community spaces
Rental Pricing:
When a studio becomes available, rent is calculated based on the amenities of each space. Studio Artists lease the use of raw studio space on a monthly basis and standard monthly fees cover administration support and common spaces. Some larger studios and workshops require yearly leasing contracts.
In an attempt to maintain affordability, ART247 raises additional funds and seeks donations that are used to cover a portion of the space rental, administration fees, programming costs and other expenses not fully covered by monthly leasing fees.
